I am an economist and physician studying the relationship between health and economic opportunity.
I am on the academic job market in AY 2026–2027.
My research focuses on topics in health, labor, and public economics. I received a PhD in Economics from UC Berkeley in 2023, where I was advised by David Card.
I am currently an internal medicine resident at UCSF, where I care for hospitalized patients and a small primary care panel. Alongside research and clinical care, I write occasional essays and poems about medicine.
